With the last burning embers of a red hot season still alive we don’t rest on our laurels at High Lane FC! Starting on Monday 22nd May we will be hosting a specialist course of injury prevention sessions aiming to making us fitter and stronger for the forthcoming season.
The mobility sessions emphasis is on injury prevention through improving joint mobility and stability of muscles. Each week will focus on different aspects ranging from proprioception (balance) to plyo metrics, agility, stability and general mobility. This programme is used frequently in professional sports to reduce the number of injuries throughout the season.
The course is open to everyone and will run throughout the summer, with the cost determined by the number of attendees but should be no more than a few pounds per session. Why not come along and improve your fitness for whatever sport you may partake in.
Every Monday from 6.30pm at High Lane Cricket Club, Middlewood Rd, High Lane, Stockport, SK6 8AU.
